When it comes to electric scooters, is one wheel better than two?The self-balancing motorcycle allows users to lean forward to go and lean back to stop. The scooter uses gyroscopic sensors and accelerometers to ensure the rider stays centered above the wheel and adjusts speed to compensate for center shifting.

The scooter can reach a speed of 16 mph. It has a 60-volt, 10-amp lithium battery that powers the scooterÂ’s 500-watt brushless hub motor. A charge takes between three to five hours and lasts for 19 miles.

The Moto Pogo, which weighs 64 pounds, is made with a full aluminum frame and has front and rear LED lighting for night riding, as well as regenerative braking. It can also easily fit in the truck of the car.

The Moto Pogo also comes with a training wheel for users to get acclimated to the unique design. However, the company says the scooter is intuitive and “most people can learn to ride the Moto Pogo in a few minutes.”
